Read the label and SDS
Always follow the current container label and official Safety Data Sheet for the exact product/reference.
Ventilation
Use aerosol coatings only with adequate ventilation. Avoid inhaling spray mist or vapours and use suitable respiratory/PPE controls where required by the product SDS and work environment.
Flammability and ignition
Many aerosol products contain flammable contents/propellants. Keep away from heat, sparks, flames, hot surfaces and other ignition sources.
Pressurized containers
Do not puncture, burn or expose cans to excessive heat, including after use. Store and transport according to label/SDS requirements.
Eye and skin protection
Use appropriate protective equipment and prevent unnecessary skin/eye exposure. Follow first-aid instructions in the SDS if exposure occurs.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, ventilated location away from direct sunlight, heat and incompatible materials. Keep out of reach of children.
Disposal
Do not dispose of aerosols by puncturing or burning them. Follow applicable local waste requirements and the product SDS.
